My husband and I live in a very small, but very charming, circa 1830’s farmhouse in the Susquehanna River hills. I spend every morning walking our dog in the woods and I am inspired by incredible variety of patterns, textures, and colors. The closer I look the more I see.
After many years designing and hand sewing quilts I began to experiment with the layering technique I work with now. I have adapted traditional quilt making techniques in order to piece and appliqué my designs. Although the process is labor and materials intensive, I think the results are worth the effort and I am confident I will be content to explore this medium for many years to come.
